Can You Find Judge Biggs?
No photo of former Judge Arthur Frasier Biggs has been located. Biggs came to
Ligonier after 1900 and worked as legal counsel for Straus Bros. He owned and
managed the Ligonier professional baseball team until he was elected as our
judge. He served from 1920 to 1931. Please check old family photos that may
contain Straus Bros. employees, early Ligonier Baseball teams, or even old
wedding photos from the era, as judges could perform weddings. Judge Laur wants
to find a photo of former Judge Biggs to complete the History of the Former
